What to Check Before Choosing Uvlack for a Project

Substrate compatibility. Not every material takes UV coating equally well. Some plastics and treated woods need a primer or a compatibility test before a full production run.

Lamp type. Mercury vapour lamps and LED arrays cure differently and suit different formulations. LED systems run cooler and last longer but need a coating specifically formulated for that wavelength.

Finish requirements. Decide whether you need high gloss, matte or a textured feel before ordering, since reformulating partway through a production run costs time and money.

Supplier track record.
